A few pics showing a HM1000x regulator tester, compared to a standard Rapid reg tester. The prior made by converting a Best Fitting tester.

Technica Data:
Theoben/RAW/Impact reg thread: 3/8 BSPP 19 tpi [55 degree] thread. (16.66mm OD thread)

HM1000x reg thread: 3/4 UNF 16 tpi [60 degree] thread. (19.05mm OD Thread)

The RAW/Theoben regulator tester is available from Best Fitting in the UK, but it is the smaller thread size as mentioned above. I can't find the larger thread size available anywhere to purchase. I purchased two of the Best Fittings reg testers with the small thread size and use one for my older RAW's, and then used my lathe to open the thread size to fit the later, larger regulator thread size.

Yes, removing the blanking plug was a running change that allowed RAW to create a larger plenum in the action. I think the HMx rifles will be the first to show up with that change, because they are the highest volume sellers.
