HW/Weihrauch HNGD - HW50 .177 From Krale

Opened up my new HW50 from Krale this weekend. Three days to my door, craziness. The outer shipping box was in decent shape with very little damage. Both rifle boxes were in perfect shape.

The rifles looks great, no barrel droop and deep blueing. The stock is the new one made by Minelli. They added a very subtle thumb shelf that I really like.

Took it out of the box, cleaned the barrel and grabbed some H&N FTT's. With a few clicks I was hitting cans at 55 yards. My kinda rifle. 😀

Really happy with the purchase, I have a Hawke scope and a BKL mount en route. For now I might just keep it with iron sights, it is such a handy little rifle.

The only drawback I can think of is the cocking stroke is a little stout right now. Definitely need two arms to cock comfortably. The rifle is typically buzzy and I am thinking a nice 10 fpe tune would be perfect.

Congrat's on the new toy . and i agree down tuning a few FPE is a good thing , makes the gun a real pleasure to shoot all day .

Congrats 👍. The hw50s in .177 is my favorite. If you are going to use a drop in tune kit to reduce power a bit, check out the ARH indoor plinker kit made specifically for the hw50s. I have had one in mine and it makes for an easy-cocking, accurate, 9-9.5fpe all day shooter.
