Wellgot me a pp700 the other day.Made a few adjustment and got it up to 620 fps. in 5.5mm.Had to .Back it out two turns.Played with hammer ,spring didn't do much.The little allen on top of the swing loader made the differance.Went from 540 to 620" put the little scope on it and a folding stock.W

Awesome little shooters those pp700s. If you’re still looking for more power you can adjust the regulator to a higher pressure but remember to do it in very tiny increments. Some guys have gotten there’s up to 800 FPS /24 fpe

Hi guy,do you have to bleed all the air out before you turn the reg in?Im assuming you turn in clock wise? Thanks Willy

I haven’t tuned one in a while but I believe it is clockwise. And if you don’t see an increase you might have to arrange the Belleville washers differently. Don’t recall the exact way to arrange them but the info is in a few previous threads on here

Clock wise and much easier to take off the regulator and adjust it off the gun, the peep hole angle on my gun is all wrong and strips the allen head. I got mine to shoot 14.3 grain pellets at 700 FPS or 16 grain hades at 660 FPS, plenty for squirrels or even rabbits.

What is the purpose of that "little allen (screw) on top of the swing loader?

How is it adjusted?

Ed the allen acks like a venture,it opens the amount of air to pass into the barrel.I think in restricted country it screwed down to restrict the amount of air flow as not to exceed 500 fps? Willy maybe ask a limey?
