my rifle came to me shooting jsb monsters redesigned 25.4gr @860fps (which I think is low), and jsb exact heavies 18.13gr @1.000fps (which i think is to high)...I have two possibilities, increase the power to improve the performance of the redesigned jsb monster, or lower the power and use the jsb of 18.13gr, but when I bought the rifle I was just thinking of having a 22 cal high-power so the first option is what i want, I want to increase the power to improve the performance of the heavier pellet.... my regulator pressure is at 160bar, i increased it up to 170bar and pellet speed just decreased so then i knew that it was not de way... Is there anyone here who can help me????

If you increase the reg pressure, you must also increase hammer spring tension because now there is more pressure against the valve and it takes a greater whop of the hammer to open it.

That's 40 fpe with the 25 gr pellets. Are they accurate at this speed? IMO If it's accurate, the speed should be of little concern

just read that because of the length of the pellet, after a certain distance depending on the initial speed, the diabolo tends to tilt the head down which makes it unstable..(i have no proven this)....

It's easy to test, just try groups at 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. If they are accurate at these distances, they are stable. 840 fps muzzle speed should be sufficient speed for a pellet to remain stable down range.

Check your Wolverine Owner's Manual for instructions specific to the Wolverine. There should be a hole in the back of the action where you can insert an allen wrench to tighten or loosen the adjustment. Tighten to increase hammer spring tension and increase velocity. Loosen to reduce hammer spring tension and lower velocity. Adjust until velocity peaks for your particular regulator pressure setting.

I just got the same gun i can use the crosman premier 14.3 gr it is within a dime at 75 yards do u know how to make the gauges line up AoA said you cant

thank you all for your support..... i wrote an email to Ken at spaweapons and he told me what to do.... i have to adjust the hammer throw.... in this rifle because of the slingshot hammer technology, you dont adjust hammer spring tension as usual....

So what is the hammer throw adjustment? I am about to replace a slingshot hammer in my Daystate. I have never heard about hammer throw.

the hammer system has a screw in the center of the hammer that you can adjust forward or backward, if you adjust it forward, the hammer will hit the valve with more force, if you adjust it backwards, with less force ... This is the way to increase the speed in the hammer side, in this case there is no adjustment in the spring, it is directly in the hammer .... you have to find a balance between the regulation pressure and the hammer strike to achieve the desired power without losing efficiency.

Daystate doesnt give you to much info, its easy to adjust but not easy to find a balance between regulator pressure and the screw in the hammer that opens the valve (here you dont change the hammer spring tension, there is a screw on the inner part of the hammer, if you screw it in, the valve opens more)....
my advice is if the rifle is shooting good, leave it like that because maybe you can increase power but efficiency can be affected!!!

I have a Daystate Wolverine R in 177. Yes, I know, an anemic caliber, but the one I want to be able to back yard shoot. It is running at about 890 FPS with 10.34 grain pellets. Plenty for my use and no need to change. If I wanted infinitely adjustable stuff I would have bought an FX something or other, but then I wouldn't get the quality and top shelf results I get with the Daystate

Not sure if it is 3mm or 4mm, but first you have to loosen a little screw on the side that blocks de main screw for turning!
