How do you send PMs?

Put your cursor over the avatar square or the persons name.
A big box will open.
At the bottom / center of the big box is a "Start Conversation" box.
Click on this box.
A "conversation" box will open.
Type your desires.
Hit send.

I thought you needed 10 plus posts and be active for a certain time before you can message people.
