How do YOU challenge YOU?

What are some of the diy challenges that you've set up for yourself. The ones where almost everything needs to be perfect to make that difficult shot. One of mine is trying to put a 177 into the pierced opening of an empty 12g co2 cartridge at 50yds. I'm sure someone will read this and consider my challenge only suitable for the visually impaired. Well that may or may not be your opinion but it is a challenge for me.

So I would like to hear how you are challenging you.

Hey man you're trying to swage a 17 cal pellet into a 10 cal hole! Sounds fun.

In the summer I like blasting flies at closer distances, grasshoppers at medium distance, and walking stink bugs at longer distances. It's cool timing the holdoff for wind and movement speed, then watching the pellets arch in for the explosion. I think my farthest is close to 70Y.

I like reactive targets, off hand, at various distances. The one-inch spinners that are scattered all over the shooting lane are great fun.

For a close range target pistol shooting, Honeycomb cereal suspended from a string, blowing in the breeze makes a good target. Cherrios or Froot Loops on a string is especially challenging to hit.

When bench shooting paper and get bored, the push-pins holding the target become targets. 😁

Cheers!

This whole thread is a list of what I have done, still do, and will,do more of, lol. This summer I hope to shoot a 1 inch 5 shot group at100yds with a Springer, D54 in .22. I have shoot back to back 1.5 groups, had 4 in a fat hole with number 5 inches away, but 5 in 1.0 has evaded me. Never had one trip last year with the right conditions. Lots of fun things to do. Shooting bugs is high on my list like Steve 123.

#1 = a field target that has a hole dia. of .22 size pellet, so if ya miss with a .177, it is not falling down. It is def a challenge at any distance.
#2 = a 63 target course ranging from 10 yards to 70 yards... with KZ of 1/8" to 2", the challenge is to clean the course... haven't succeeded yet, but 80% is better than the 48% i started with. Yes the wind is the master.

I have been actively competing in archery FITA and FT for over fifteen years and I learned that training and practising in real life scenarios is a must.
Registering months ahead for any tournaments and I don't know what whether conditions to expect is a big risk loosing a podium because of a single point?
Rain or shine or wind or sun is burning you the entire day... I trained a thousand arrows every week year around.
I had a nasty back surgery in 2018 and since I am into airguns, training and competing with myself most of my time now.
No cheating with scores, always take the worst shot as a score.
That is my driver :)

I've taken to offhand shooting for a challenge. I'm a hunter, so I like to shoot the way I have to shoot in the field. Offhand, impromptu rest on a rock or a tree. To quickly figure out a way to make a shot without the advantage of a proper rest or support is good fun and keeps you thinking on your feet.
