Like most things in life, there is no free lunch. You have to put in the time and try different pellets. Sure, it requires time, but the nice side benefit is you gain experience, which is the best teacher.
I'm new to Airguns but not to shooting. I've spent time on here and GTA and have picked up lots of tips that allow me to "shorten" the time and narrow down things like pellet brand and weight, so I don't have to try everything.
But at the same time, I can try different brands/weights and build up my own database, based off my guns, my barrels and my skill and find what works best for me.
It's not the destination...It's the journey, as is often quoted
Pretty simple. Decide what you want/need and then get the appropriate barrel/gun for the job. Sometimes you get lucky and the gun will end up liking chp's
