How do you get the most out of your pellets

For me i put pellets in warm water with soap and swirl them around a bit. Then rinse off to clean them. Spread them out to dry. Then once dry put them in the tin after putting in some chain wax on the tins foam. Roll tin around a bit to get all pellets waxed and call it good.

When loading pellets i look them over and of they are bent or bad ill put them aside. But I dont size them or weigh them etc. Im not that good of a shot where it would matter, unless they are really bad in which case id see it.

I am a bench shooter with spring guns only from 10m to 100 yards. Lubing and weight sorting to .06 lots has helped tighten groups. Central weight, light, or heavy shot within the weight range shoot equally well. I have shot as low as 1.3 at 100yds for a 5 shot group with my Diana54 in .22. At 50 yds lots of .5 and under. Head size sorting I see little gain, I think the existing tools sold are not reliable or well designed .
