I really want a new gun that can shoot the jsb 33 grain with good power. Is the vulcan 3 basically only a slug gun or will it do good with jsb 25 cal 33s?

Derrick Wall did a short review on one here last year and it shot great the 33s. 61fpe energy. Look for it. I think he was getting around 910-920 the 500mm

I just got a Uragan 2 700 .25 caliber. Likely the same CZ barrel you would get with a Vulcan 3 Long. My rifle does not shoot the JSB 33s Mk1 or Mk2 well. I've adjusted the reg. up & down the velocity range and it just does not like those pellets. What it does like is JTS 29.63 pellets! It shoots those in ragged hole groups with no flyers! It also likes JSB 25gr..., just not the 33s.
I just got Zan 38gr .253" in today. Haven't had a chance to shoot them yet as I was on the snow blower all day today trying to get un-buried from the storm we had last 2-days!

Airgun Technologies - .25 Vulcan 3 - 500 & benchrest setup
Tested a .25 Vulcan 3 - 500 I have in stock. Flipped the plenum for the XL high power option. Set reg to 148 bar and dialed in the .25 - 34gr FX pellets from JSB to 910 fps. Had 6-7 mph winds. I was pleasantly surprised that this little .25 Vulcan shoots so well at this power ~ 62.5 FPE. Great...

They come out of the box set up to shot in the 913-918fps. Best speeds for shooting both pellets or slugs.

I have the .22, 700mm its an excellent gun. first shot after it sits for a few day still within 2fps of normal speeds.

Took down three starlings one shot at 91yds.(25.4 g FX pellet) off a electric tower at the Dairy farm where I do pest control yesterday
Differently some luck involved, but haven't had that happen before. Plenty of 75-80 dirt nap shots on Rock pigeons off the top of a silo also.
My gun shoots these pellets so well its hard to spend the $ for slugs.

My V3 700 .25 is a slug shooting machine, shoots most 33 to 36 gr slugs amazing. I modded mine slightly to allow hammer spring adj without any dissasembly, easy tuning.
One thing is how rigid it is much better from the bench than my Mav Sniper 25.

I shoot a 22.cal Vulcan 3 long at at monthly match at Piney Hill . I Won every card of the last 4 matches with the exception of one card that I double loaded and fired 2 pellets at once .Normally we shoot 3-4 cards per match. The CZ unchoked barrel shoots incredibly well .I compete against most makes of high end guns . The RTI profit also shoots very well .
