How Do You Seal A Leaking Set Screw Huben Dream Valve?

Just replaced the plenum o-rings in my Huben Dream Valve 7075. Had another problem that I posted earlier and that seems to be cured. One of the 4mm x 4mm set screws at the plenum swivel was leaking before the new internal o-rings and is still leaking after their replacement.

My fingers are to fat to be able to wrap the set screw with teflon tape. My guess is that there shouldn't be any air where the set screws are located, but the o-ring replacement didn't slow down the leak at all. It is only leaking from 1 of the two set screws. I am contemplating taking it apart again and tapping the hole to a larger set screw and see if that will stop the leak.

Does anyone have suggestions for curing the leak?

Thanks

Permatex, lightly and dry

Thank you. Have worked that direction. Can't remember my order number from December, I found there invoice and charge to my cc and passed that along, but no progress made. They seem a little hesitant. Guessing they think I bought the Alibaba version. Even though I just purchased and received another cricket valve from them. Oh well, half the fun is the tinkering. I just hope I can figure out what is causing the leak. Would hate to think I wasted $180.00. Thanks for the suggestion though.

There is an 8mm hex in the base of the chamber that screws on the gun. You can remove the whole plenum section.

Been quite some time since I did surgery on a Dream valve but I seem to remember an oring in that base.

Thank you. Took it apart again yesterday. With what limited measuring tools I have, it seems the inner piece that has the 8mm hex in it maybe milled slightly off. Or the outer tube might be off. The tube is 27 mm id ish. With 6 o-rings tested, the od with the o-ring mounted was 27.15 mm ish. 6 different tries with new o-rings and the set screw still just bubbles away. It seems like Huben may have some quality issues. I will continue to mess with it, but I am slowly accepting the reality that it is just a leaky Notos Dream Valve. I will probably grind the set screw down and permatex red in place and only use one set screw.
