so i finally got a person on the phone , told them about all this (the person is a supervisor in fish and game) they looked up my license and said this.
mr O***s your super combo license (which has all its tags accounted for) looks to be in order and as long as you get the first person with sight you encounter after that kind of situation , you get that person to cut the date ect out of your tag and log it on your license and you are good. if possible attach the WRD onto the carcasses head before you leave that area to the predators, since the carcass is not being moved at all from where it died.
this is what i was told, so that is what i will rely on unless a person of higher station tells me different.
game wardens welcom, they can cut out my tag date for me it seems if they are there.
so if you find yourself in some situation and you are a licensed hunter but blind , they kinda have a duty to make sure their procedures are followed , so they can cut out your date and log your license if they make themselves known that they are present.
good day to ya
