Brocock/BRK How loud is the BRK Ghost?

I don't have any dB levels for you but have shot the Ghost quite a bit, from 18-50fpe.

The Ghost has a functional air stripper inside the shroud. The shroud is also vented (holes at the rear). I don't run a moderator, just the OEM shroud. It is more than quiet enough for my uses at up to 32fpe in .20 without a moderator. Birds fly at the sound of the pellet hitting their buddy, but not at the report of the rifle.

When I was running it as a .22 @ 45-50fpe it was louder than I'm comfortable with though. Ie it needed a moderator in addition to the shroud.

Just thought I better add that the no moderator/up to 32fpe in .20 being plenty quiet for me is with a Ghost Plus length barrel and shroud.

The Carbine (shorter shroud) was too loud for me without additional moderator, even at only 18-19fpe.

There's more empty space between the muzzle of the barrel and the end of the shroud with the Plus than the Carbine. So probably as simple as more volume in a Plus shroud to contain the sound than there is in a Carbine shroud.

It looks like a simpler alternative to the Impact. Not as customizable, or likely as potentially powerful as the Impact though. I look at it as more of a hunting rifle.
I am looking at the ticket price only, for every money there is something to buy. Agree with you if you can purpose it. I don't see it for myself, I am still with my first MK2 PP.
