I pay Mr.Hollowpoint to cast my .358 and .510 ammo. I've thought of getting into it, but I don't really have much desire.

How many AGN members make their own slugs

I shoot unleaded projecticles exclusively so I _have_ to cast if I want anything beyond the meager offerings in .25 and .22. The .177 selection isn't bad, and I see now that Zan makes some slugs that I should try... But I find casting fun, almost a separate hobby to shooting, and as tin metal melts at a lower temperature than lead it is easier to cast.
That said, I don't think casting is cheaper! And the quality of commercial ammo is better than what I can tumble out of a mold. But they are fun to make, all shiny defective individuals, and poorly cast pellets poking holes all over my target is informative on what helps a pellet fly straight, and help mask my consensus of aim rather than a point. Cast pellets add to the sporting aspect, giving the bulls-eye a chance. Cast, shoot, collect, melt, repeat.

Do it! Is it worth the money? Really depends how much you shoot and if you get joy from doing things yourself with the freedom customizing your needs.
I say it's been very rewarding and zero regrets!
I highly recommend Corbin. I live super close to them, went in met Kelly along with the folks working there, super welcoming and helpful.
Kelly took the time to show me the S press, answer my questions and made some recommendations and what has been working for him. I got a follow up call the other day from him to ensure everything is going smoothly, truly a great experience.
Besides supporting and American company you get great customer service.
The S press is super easy and the slugs have been coming out perfect and shooting perfect.....once I found a good combination.
Not mention the slugs haven't been thrown in a bag or tin, handled by shipping services and showing up dinged up.
I plan on doing a write up in the near future.

I was already setup to cast 9mm bullets. I later started casting quite a bit for my higher power airguns.

what are you shooting the arsenal mold slugs with?
specifically, i would be interested how the .308 77grainers work with a VULCAN 3 HP? (i assume they won't fit the mag, though.)

I voted yes because I swage my own pellets. I don’t shoot slugs but if I did I expect I would swage my own too.
