How many impact owners here?

If this thread had been started a year ago I might have bought one sooner. I was one of those that never seriously considered an Impact because I thought there were a lot of discontented owners that had a lot of problems with their Impacts. Just received my Impact Compact a few days ago. Had a little issue with adjusting the power out of the box, but figured it out and I'm loving it so far.

Never gave them much thought, but just got an early used one from a fellow AGN member in .177 that caught my fancy . I haven't had a chance to get out with it, but I'm looking forward to dabbling. I know that there are polarized groups that love them and others that don't, but a tool for every task is more my style (excuse
). I can easily be called an Edgun fanboy, with 4 currently and a Leishy 2 on the first pre-order group, but that doesn't keep me from owning a dozen other PCP's in addition to that. Hopefully, I will be one of the ones that winds up keeping it a long time.

My first was a .25 with a 600 mm barrel. It got 55 shots per fill. I can’t see spending $300 to upgrade to PP just to get 75 shots. My second is a .30 cal with a 700 mm barrel. Don’t know the shot count but I had to tune it down to shoot in a 100 BR match that had a 75 fpe limit. I don’t plan on shooting slugs.
