I want to sell my Diana 45 walnut at auction. How much can I realistically get for it?
I have a pair of NOS Dianas D30 and D30 90 anniversary edition with a beech, each msrp costing 1k and no one else has them in the US, just like this D45 walnut,D45 with a beech stock is useless junk. let's see what fleabay says.I think it could go 300+ considering walnut and condition. Lemme know
Very good gun but not real popular today in the US. There's a ton of the beech stocked 45's around
Good luck, I hope you do well with your auction. Many times over the years I regretted sell mine.I'll put it up for "1 dollar auction" on eb for 10 days on Thursday. I will let you know how much it sold for.
$300 is what I'm counting on, I'm sure I'll get it. Of course, I also regretted the rifles I sold in the past, now I don't sell my rifles anymore, I only buy them. I just don't need this rifle.Good luck, I hope you do well with your auction. Many times over the years I regretted sell mine.
That’s the trick. A 1$ dollar start will bring the real value. I have listed for 750 without a bite. Same gun at 1$ a month later sold for more than the 750. Someone needs to tell the folks that you don’t actually win an auction. The winner is the guy that knew enough to stop at real value and let the fools run with it.I'll put it up for "1 dollar auction" on eb for 10 days on Thursday. This stock is made of Greek walnut, not Turkish or American walnut, that's why the wood structure is so unusual. That one D45 walnut rifle that you could see earlier on AN forum was repainted. https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/diana-rws-model-45-walnut.1312165/Only drawback you have on that rifle is the grain pattern of that particular rifle is just "meh" it looks like a nice rifle though, and I'm definitely one of the bidders on it we'll see where it ends up.
I wouldn't call it "unusual" I just meant that whenever you buy a walnut stocked rifle it's a lottery as to if you get a absolute stunner, or one that's just kinda blah. This rifles grain pattern falls into the blah category for me....don't get me wrong, it's still a gorgeous rifle, just don't feel it will command a bunch of money just because it's walnut...now if the grain was more attractive on this particular rifle, I think it would sell for much more. And I hope it doesn't go crazy, because I kinda want itThis stock is made of Greek walnut, not Turkish or American walnut, that's why the wood structure is so unusual. I agree, this is a good inexpensive rifle for beginners, that's why there is no stock like the custom made Theoben.I wouldn't call it "unusual" I just meant that whenever you buy a walnut stocked rifle it's a lottery as to if you get a absolute stunner, or one that's just kinda blah.
