How much needs to be spent for 120+ fpe in .22?

Looking for something comparable to rimfire performance, but it seems these higher powered airguns are larger caliber. Have an avenger in 22, but I doubt it would possible to hit even half that, with modifications.

Any recommendations? Appreciate any input.
They have upgrades for a AGT Vulcan 3 in .22. also there are videos of people doing that. The energy output is 114 fpe. Hope this helps.

Get a rimfire lol. You would need some crazy long like 32"-36" barrel plus the pellet/slug would need to be huge to get enough weight to make that power level and still be stable enough to have any accuracy.

Or you could just get the FUX1143
Yes the FUX1143 with the 2000mm barrel.

I built mine out from spa m10 frame and lw 223 barrel. Total cost being 295 for gun and 100for barrel + alot of time spent for parts and testing. Peak energy I got was 116fpe at 2900psi with 24.8" barrel with 51gr 22cal pill.
But unless you want something incredibly heavy and long you are kinda fixed to external reg or just few shots from guns own tank. Mine is purely built for paper punching since we cant use airguns to hunt in here so not big deal to use external reg.
All depends where and why you need such gun. Even if mine exceeds ballistics and matches energy of 22lr its still heck alot more violent and harder to shoot and 1000times less usable in field than 22lr.

you dont need that much energy to match typical .22 rimfire performance on 'small' game for distance and kill rate .. cant remember too many shots in my 50yrs with rimfire where the hit rate or kill rate was higher than a solid .22 pcp OR where i was targeting small game much past 50y with a .22 rimfire .. id say 30ish fpe and your golden .. needing 120+ though, that would be good sized dog or better stuff .. get a bigger gun ...

Aea challenger pro isn't quite there in 22 but in 30 and 35 cal is right there at the power level your looking for the only other option that I can think of in 22cal is the fx panthera or the impact but those cost quite a bit more but are absolutely worth every penny if you got the extra coin on hand another thing that you might want to consider with a high power setup is a compressor and for that the fx brand compressors on Amazon are cheap and very good I've had one for years and it's still running strong hope this helps
