How much scope magnification is needed at 100yards up to 150 yards?

Those are all fine optics for powder. And great examples (I own a 3200). I found quickly though two things with air rifle scopes:
A thin recticle that isnt mil dot based is better to see tiny targets/holes. The solid lines that have no breaks inbetween dots were hard to decifer where to aim. Hash marks are better, for me.
The other was an illuminated reticle is invaluable for hunting. I dont consider a scope at all for hunting if it doesnt have such a feature. Not hunting the first point still holds weight...have an open style Mil or MOA hash marked reticle.
