How popular are air guns?

I've always loved shooting but through bad choices & bad behavior when younger & (much) dumber I'm not allowed firearms. I missed being able to shoot & 5 or 6 years ago I got myself a break barrel pellet rifle (which I AM allowed). It was a P.O.S. but also about that time I learned about PCP's. Once I got my 1st one (Benjamin Discovery) there was NO TURNING BACK !!! Then I wanted bigger caliber, more accuracy, magazine feeding, longer distances, etc. You know, the "normal" progression. I'm still amazed & thrilled by the precision, accuracy & long distance I've become able to attain. I've always been fascinated by precision equipment & today's airguns deliver like never before. They're not the "toys" of yesteryear but the tools of the future. That's my story in a nutshell. The fact that this forum has about 700,00 people (I believe) one could say they're pretty popular, to answer your original question.

NOTE: Please do not discuss FIREARMS on AIRGUN NATION. Our focus is Air Powered Shooting Sports. Compare and Contrast threads devolve quickly and get shut down.

NOTE: To gain access to the CLASSIFIED SECTION you need a number of quality posts, and you need to pass a probationary period. Rapid fire posts do not gain access any faster.

Same situation. I get to do something I really enjoy despite mistakes in my past.
