How Rare Is It? Part Deaux

I purchased this gun from the same gentleman as the lefty .177 TX200SR in part 1. This one is a little different.

It is another TX200SR but it is in museum quality. It has never had a scope mounted as verified by the previous owner. Only shot a few times which is a shame because it is a WEBLEY VENOM fully tuned and blued gun. The work they did to these guns is literally the stuff of legend. If the bluing on a TX200 or Pro Sport is better than most other airguns, this is on another level yet. Webley apparently called it "blacking". Even the swivel studs and stock screws have this treatment. It looks like a black chrome. Next to the other SR's it stands out beautifully.

Again I don't know how many Venom SR's were made, and there doesn't seem to be record keeping to verify the numbers other than owners which are few and far between. I have not found another in the states. I fired 3 pellets just to test function and the shot cycle is out of this world. I have had the good fortune to have 2 other SR's and they shoot great but this is something different. I can't imagine a more lovely feeling springer. If this is the kind of thing they have across the pond we are missing out!

I sincerely apologize if any of this comes off as bragging. I am just genuinely excited to have been allowed to purchase a few guns I never though I would have the opportunity to own. I work hard and any spend on guns is carefully considered. I usually have to sell one to get another.

As before, please let me know if you have one, or have seen one, and if so where?

Museum quality for sure. Beautiful gun. Thanks for showing it. However you got one thing wrong. You don't own it. Like all fine guns you are just the caretaker of it for a while.

You are absolutely correct. When it arrived I called the gentleman I purchased it from and told him how thankful I was that he chose me to be the custodian of this amazing gun.
