That is indeed very low life.
1: I aint shooting nothing i am not going to eat, well aside for rats.
2: And i sure as hell are not going to shoot a swan ( the Danish national bird )
Some people / many people, just do not get it ( life in general )
At " my " range, we do have " barn doors " flying around ( nickname for big eagles here ) and they are for sure nesting close by.
But we enjoy the sight of these majestic birds hovering over the field, and there also often are smaller birds of prey over the field too.
It is very nice to behold and a very good excuse to put the rifle down for a few minutes and just enjoy the sight.

I'm waiting on the 'Why' did he shoot it and then turn himself in?
If he was shooting at a different target and killed the Eagle he's still in the wrong.

No one seems to care how many Eagles get killed by those stupid eyesores called windmills. I have even heard they are excused by law for killing certain numbers , but no one is counting. In this case the season on eagles and hawks should be open year round.

Remember that news story about a couple of foreigners (Hatians if I remember correctly) that bagged a bald eagle for food. Did not know it was protected. However this clown should serve 10 years in prison plus pay $100K for bald eagle conservation programs.
