How to accomplish shooting out to, and passed 200 yards!

Every once in awhile I'll have to take a "Long Range" shot at a crow or group of pigeons on the farms… I try to keep my average shots to around 27-69 yards…But sometimes I am required to reach out further to around 69-179 yards, and I want to know that I will be accurate so as to not injure my quarry…To help me shot 60 plus yards and up, I use a bubble level to make sure that I am not canting my gun…I like the Long Range Arms, LRA Send iT, it has a LED level along with a really good sprite level also…it is absolutely fantastic, and a great bit of kit!… I did a review on my "New" YouTube Channel

I hope this will be helpful to those that want to… and are shooting out to longer and longer ranges!

Cheers, Mark

that kind of shooting with an airgun is strictly competition in my book .. an airgun just isnt going to do it reliably that far .. nothing worse than coming up on an injured critter suffering with fear in its eyes, dont want that to happen, even if they were being destructive, you want to stay in the range you can keep it to positive kills .. there are some guns im sure can do it to 100 or so, but 200 on small game ..nah .. animals arnt practice targets .. YOU stalk in and use strategy ..its part of it ..killing isnt a game ..

Hello Dizzums, Thanks for your response...

I have an FX Impact .30cal with a 700mm barrel shooting NSA slugs and it is very easy to reach those distances accurately and effectively...I do this for a living and don't take wounding or having any animal suffer because of a wrongdoing or bad discussion that I made...I have the LRA Send-iT on my gun to give me every possible advantage I can use. I also use StrelokPro to also assist me...

Once again, thanks for watching and for your comments!

Cheers, Mark

"There are plenty of fools in airgunning would pay hundreds thousands of bucks for anything that's remotely related to airguns — which is why this kind of products exist — but slaming some leds on a bubble level and put it up there with a price tag of $230 just feel like an insult to my intelligence."

Hello Piston John, Thanks for your comments!

Actually, The LRA Sen-iT has been primarily used for powder burners, helping the shooter take accurate shots over longer distances, knowing they are not canting their gun. I started of using just a bubble level but as I needed to shoot out to further distances on the farms, I wanted something a lot more reliable and accurate ...I thought that this bit of kit would be an asset to serious "Long Range Shooters". And that's why I reached out to Long Range Arms and featured it on my YouTube Channel.

I like to encouraged Air-gunners through my Channel, to experience any fabulous and new technology that could enhance their shooting...and this little gadget does just that...It's like having a really good quality scope on your gun as opposed to a lesser quality scope...or a great quality Bipod, or just paying a little extra for high end pellets or slugs...It all makes a huge difference in performance... and that's what some of us strive for and are looking for...!

It all comes down to your shooting abilities and needs, and what you want to get out of this ever evolving industry!

I hope that explains where some of us are coming from!

Cheers, Mark

PS: And I for one am not a "fool"...maybe a total twat sometimes...but not a fool...Hahaha!
