AirMaks Arms how to drain air from Caiman X?

Did you buy the Caiman new ?
You should have received a tool and manual that explains this. The tool enters up from the bottom to release the pressure.
Pretty simple when you go get the manual...
See page 5.

It depends on how new your Caiman X is. I believe there is an on line manual too. The one that came with my second generation Caiman X still explained the degass procedure of the first generation which MikeVV summarized. The tool depresses the valve so the air comes out. Can come out a little fast from what others have said.

My second generation Caiman X (safety is above trigger instead of in back) has a screw to degass like my other PCPs. But you have to remove the air cylinder to find it. The larger grub screw that holds the cylinder in the gun covers the vent screw. So with the cylinder out of the gun you just loosen it a little bit and the air will start coming out. I always stop when I hear air and when it slows down I open it a little more. Works great. A little hard to get to (and recognize even when you get to it) but it works.

i have older version and it needs tool.

I have a first gen as well bought used from Utah AG. No degassing tool with it. No help from AirMaks when requested either. A manual is indeed available online but does no friggin good when the special tool is not available. Called Utah about it and the guy suggested shooting it down and finish degassing by loosening the gauge. I will try this soon as the reg needs the weevil mod.
