How to make your own Airgun?

What would one need to know to create their own airgun? Does anyone know of any good books on the subject and how to machine for these small parts?

The only book I know of is written by H.M. Buckley. I actually have one. It’s in rough condition but the pictures and words are legible. The most important tools you will need are a lathe and drill press.

Unfortunately the book (actually Mr. Buckley has authored two books...) are unobtanium.

With a little Google Fu, it was very easy to locate a pdf of the book. I am not sure of the rules on posting a direct link but, it literally took 30 seconds to find it.
