FWB How to replace FWB 300 breech seal?

The seal on my FWB 300 is crumbling, how do I replace it? I can't find any YouTube videos or "how To" pictures to guide me. Also, where could I buy a replacement seal? Thanks for the help and info.

so, first off they do not have a soft material piston seal, they do have a metal ring on the cylinder
now the buffer at the on the cylinder is old because in can see thought TP it is cream in color
so, question are you a very good air gun smith if not you should send in out and when the interial buffer is change the breech seal can also be changed
now hold should you change the breech seal without taking the rifle apart
with some very good DENTAL picks will it be easy hell no but you cut and pick the old seal out clean up the mess and i do mean clean up the mess
where to find the seal
many sell a kit and that will have the internal buffer and the breech seal and a new piston ring, in my view the piston ring is not needed as they have a 100,000 shot life span
many sell the breech seal for 30-35 bucks to pricy Knibbs has them but they have been offline all day
here is your best bet and the price is very fair

dig the breech seal out and replace it but the internal buffer will need to be change at some point
if it is still whole it will last for a while

Mine did the same thing shortly after I bought it. I sent mine to David Slade at Airgun Werks. It shoots like new and I expect it to last the rest of my life. It cost me about 250 with postage and insurance both ways if memory serves but was well worth it to me to have such a magnificent rifle. The postage is what makes it seem so high. David’s work was quite reasonable I thought. The internal buffer is more than likely shot as well. Mine was blowing chunks of it into the chamber. David replaced everything including a new spring.

well i will side with Steve on this and the why is this only if you can't do the work
the rifle has been sitting for a long time and the everything needs to be cleaned
the rust color on the breech seal makes me wonder what the breech cone looks like

now my opinion on all old target rifle
a rifle like a FWB 300 or a Diana 75 you need to know the history of the rifle and that means when it was last rebuilt and if those facts cannot be give the rifle is worth the price minus the service and shipping to the service
now in this case the new owner might be able to do the work but just the question of how to remove the breech seal says maybe not
the goal is to not go underwater when buying old used guns
