FWB How to uncock feinwerkbau 300s?

I accidentally cocked the gun fully and then without firing opened the chamber again and now the cocking mechanism is stuck. Is there a way to release it again? I know nothing about air rifles so explanations for dummies would be great!

As far as I can remember from my time shooting a 300S, you just have to pull the cocking lever all the way back and it should go forward again once the anti-beartrap disengages at the end of the cocking stroke.

This is a very long shot, but if you pull the cocking lever back a bit more, (of course without bending it!!!) it may engage, you may hear a subtle ping noise?

That is what you do to uncock. He has the cocking lever pulled back and stuck in the fully open position.

As Swissair and specie said, the lever must be all the way back before it will return forward.

At its farthest rearward point, the lever will slide the action forward to its shooting position. If this is stiff, just pushing the receiver forward with your thumb will help with that bit as well.
