How to write a story with inserted pictures?

I have more than once tried to write a sequence of events. From an android phone if that matters. Every time I insert a photo things go whacky. Often I need to try and edit or often I am required to start over. I've got to the point I write in a text file then paste and try to insert photos. And that sometimes screws up? Is there something I'm missing when inserting 'text, picture, text, picture...'

Same here(on my tablet). Sometimes the picture splits up the paragraph or sentences. God forbid I decide to delete the picture, that's when things really fall apart. NOTE: moderators, I'm not ragging on you. You guys do a stellar job. I'm pretty sure it's "pilot error" (me) but I'm too stoopid to figure it out. Glad I'm not the only one. Misery loves company.

The pictures will insert wherever your cursor is.

Just before you insert the picture hit return at least once

Then after you insert the picture hit return again at least once.

That way the picture is not stuck inside with the paragraph.

You know I just realized something I do every once in a while that would mess up and garble putting pictures in. If it is a long involved post where I have to scroll up to hit the picture icon to insert picture, sometimes (actually fairly often) I accidently touch the the text window to scroll to the top of the page. This changes where the cursor is and the picture ends up in the wrong intended place. This maybe what you are doing.

What @Healthservices said and suggests to others in composing posts with text and photos is on point. Sometimes it’s tough to move the blue cursor to the side of a photo without getting the red box outlining the photo. When this happens repeatedly, I save what I have and click “edit” again to finish editing or composing my post. Sometimes it does not work like I’d like it too. Most often it does.

I just use attach files then line up the pictures i want edited down in file size for easy loading ( take the 1.8 mb resized to kb ).


The write a line add picture full image / or as thumbnail ( ill do this one thumbnail)


Then add more text


And keep going ( now full image)

And keep blabbing

Maybe one more back to thumbnail


All day long easy peasy
