How was your airgun weekend?

This weekend was expensive but good.

My Extremebigbore booster pump came in to my local airgun guy. (NEW ENGLAND AIR GUN IN HUDSON MA)

AND...

John @ new England airgun helped us fit a better starting pcp for my fiance son.

We tried the kral np03 (too heavy) ended up with the Benjamin pistol with an AR stock to fit him as best we could. I really do recommend checking out John's store if you're in the area he's been nothing but helpful.

I realize I could have ordered the EBB booster pump off their site but we gotta support our locals.

cool stuff ... ive expanded my horizons lately and upgraded a couple of my midrange cost airguns .. i remember when 50y shots were 'iffy' .. the new iffy is 80y lol .. and ive ordered an altaros external reg specifically just so i can tether when im in the window tuning and sighting .. getting alot more into actually using those adjustments these days and constantly playing with the bottle is a drag when im putting a few clips through it ...

Glad you are having a great airgun weekend! But mine is HORRIBLE!!!

First: Atmosphere river above the area, 20+ MPH gusts and pouring! Or no shooting to speak of.

Second: Fedex supposed to deliver my new Crown yesterday and of course it's delayed so it won't be here till monday. Sitting here bored out of my mind and pacing like an ant on a hot pan!

I hear that! I couldn't do diddly with just one tank n my hammer, the hammer is too hungry, once I got a few tanks I was good. Now the boosterpump is going to be a world changer!!!

Ugh, I am sorry to hear that man and I've been there with those bad weekends, I hope everything gets sorted...

Also envious of the crown !

I’ve been shooting this weekend. I was supposed to get up to hunt this morning but apparently I turned off the alarm clock in my sleep because I woke up three hours later. It’s windy down here, so I said “it looks like a great day to challenge myself.” Tested different pellets and moderators. Fun day. Now I’m sitting watching the treeline hoping to get lucky and pick off a squirrel in 16 mph wind gusts.

@dizzums I hear you on the fooling around with the bottle. I’m not quite ready for a tethered set up, but bout ready to pull the trigger on a good compressor. Getting tired of paying for tank fills.

@qball My last FedEx shipment was delayed for about 4 days. Then I got a delivery attempt notification which I found odd. I spoke to the driver the next day and was told that they didn’t attempt to deliver anything the day before. Dunno what’s going on with FedEx or their system as of late. They’re usually pretty efficient for me. Hope your stuff comes soon.

@kevo1288 The folks at New England Airguns have been great to deal with in my experience. Never visited the brick and mortar but have read great things about them, especially when the range was open. I’ve seen several people with booster pumps. I have to familiarize myself with them. I’m not sure I understand exactly how they work. Glad you’re having a good weekend. How’s that AR stock affect the balance of your Prod?

Feel free to shoot me a message, I can familiarize you with the booster pump. I can also give me .02 on a compressor and show you my very robust, effective, and reasonably priced fill station if you'd like!

The ar stock, it's light, the gun is still very nimble, totally impressed with it.

WHOA! Get the YoungHeng compressor, 1 big filter, 1 one-way valve and 2 home depot buckets and let it change your AG world. Don't forget the transmission fluid, didn't like fancy royal purple. This is the best video for YongHeng IMHO from our own AGN member/vendor AVS:

I'd be broke if I had to have pay to have someone fill my bottles, not to mention takes way too much time with all the driving added in. Found a range 30 miles from me so every session is almost a bottle worth of air and I've been there 6 times in 2 weeks when weather was nice. If I don't have the compressor it wouldn't even be possible. If you got any questions free free to reach out about my setup, it has been 1.5 years and it has been awesome with no issues(knock on wood/forehead).

Second this!

The cold has come in so the Chipmunks are underground and it’s been slow.

Is there any niche hobby group that does bespoke dynamite detonations? Just trying to figure out what to do from now until spring.

I'm in CT - will drive to NH if you're looking for someone to blow stuff up with.

I too am in CT!

Whereabouts? Your profile says NH. I'm in the Danbury area. Always looking for another airgunner to meet up with to shoot.

Pop me a PM - don't want to take away from the OP's thread.

My weekend sucked! Heavy rain throughout both Saturday and Sunday. I was supposed to cut the grass, didn't finish. I'm actually doing it now after I just got off from work today. I wanted to test more pellets for accuracy in my new Evol Mini but no dice. Hopefully it's sunny this weekend. I did manage to shoot a few rounds out the window with my Leshiy Classic. That's about it. Hope you guys weekend was splendid.
