FX How well 30 cal Superior heavy liner in 700mm shoots pellets 47 grain

Need to know the performance of JSB pellets in 30 cal 700mm superior heavy liner.

In fact a friend needs to use 30 cal with pellets while Normal Superior liner is not available.

Only Superior heavy liner is available.

It is 1:18 twist rate.

Please share your pellet experience with 30 cal superior heavy liner.

I used a heavy liner in 25 cal which I think was 1-18 with 34 gr jsb pellets and
It shot good accurate to100 plus yards

I have several different twist rate liners in .22 and .25 - but no 30 cal so I really cannot comment for that specific ...
What I have seen the slow TR like 24 or 27 or 32 are more in pellets favour, the fasters like 18 or 15.5 the slugs like better.
Now, if you have no other options but a 1:18 only and want to shoot pellets - you need to slow it down from mid 900's to mid 800's ... the high RPM is good for slugs only but pellets can overspinn... and that will make the flight corkscrew...
This is my basic understanding.

should be fine, but the above advice is good advice. I've used an old slug liner for pellets and it was perfectly fine. But it will probably foul quicker

They have the slow twist liner 1:40 available now.

Totally agreed. As per theory my understanding is also same. But I asked as sometimes practical differs from theory.
