Hello all, just another new guy checking in from S. Texas. I have quite a bit of experience with bolt guns and long range shooting...but airguns, not so much. With the recent Covid situation I found myself wanting to go shoot but didn't want to leave home so I purchased my first pcp airgun and started shooting in my back yard...gotta say, I'm hooked! But I can only shoot 30yds max. Looking forward to learning, and shooting more.

Ok, here's what I ended up with. Its an FX Impact .25 700mm, purchased from SPAW. Ken is a super good dude.

Welcome! Nice setup!! That’s about all I have at home too, 30 yards. .25 is just too much power for my home range unless I dial it down significantly.

Thanks guys, yes, I agree. I was surprised by the power of the gun. I first shot it at a stall mat...and the pellet zipped straight through and hit my garage door. After getting it zeroed I've shot a few rats off the power lines at night...its my new favorite hunting...Lol.
