AEA Hp Max

That is awesome!!!! I put a 500 cc carbon fiber bottle on my max and a 700 on my m50. I haven't gotten a chance to shoot them since I switched them out. I'm hoping for a real nice shot curve for one mag. I did have to get the 4'' barrel extension from Texoma precision pellet to use the great kami on the hp. Those numbers are pretty good.

Just got my first pcp, an AEA Hp Max 457. I'm really liking it. As far as fpe and accuracy goes. If there anyone out there has had both? Which did you prefer, why?

I have a Gogun 357 max hp w/Gogun pump conversion kit, works very well ( no broken mags) HTH

I just wanted to post and let other hp max owners know that the black arts design hp ar grip adapter will work on the hp max. I haven't gotten one yet but I'm planning on putting an ergo deluxe palm shelf on my max. I did however put a tpp fixed ar adapter on mine and then I also had a sb tactical folding adapter that I put on. I also added a two inch adapter on the barrel to clear the bottle allowing to use the great kami. That came from Texoma precision pellet as well. I lubed some slugs and am waiting for it to warm up a touch more before I get out to do some shooting.

Hey -

So is it correct that I can install any barrel in the M50 receiver (and have the appropriate sized mag) and convert to shoot .457 and .510? I have a .495 and if it's easy to do I'd like to accessorize and mod as the mood strikes.

Yes I converted my m50 from .495 to .457. Bin Tac sells the barrel bolt and mag for two bills.

It's on my list now.

Anyone have any indications of the ballistics of the .457 versus the .495? Is there that much difference? I know a lot depends on ammo choice more-so than just caliber...

I've had better results with the 457 so far. That was my motivation for converting the m50.

It was pretty easy. You have to take the stock off. There is a little Allen head screw in the back if bolt you back off some to pull bolt handle off. There is a small screw on side of bolt you take off. Not to bad.

How do you take the stock off, like this? I put 2 drill bits in the side holes so i should be able to turn it loose but it is tight a f.
