Hello everyone. I own a hp ss plus and I have an issue with the trigger. When I fire a round it won't fire after I follow up with another shot. I can still pull the trigger but I have to recock the pistol to fire again. It's like the gun went from semi auto to having to recock after every shot. Has anyone experienced this and/or willing to share how to fix this problem?

Yes. The back pressure is too low to fully cycle the piston and/or its time to clean and lube the gun.

I have the HP .22 semi-auto and when it gets dirty and dry, it does the same thing.

When tearing your gun down make sure it is uncocked. It can be a knuckle buster if the sear lets loose during tear down. My + gets dirty about every 500 rounds and requires a cleaning. You can get by short term by spraying Tri Flow into the receiver, but to Firewalkers point if you have lead down into the mechanism tear down has to be done.
