HP01-22U Zoraki "Ultra" v. HP01-22

considering either the Zoraki Ultra which has or "plain" with shorter barrel
I am inclined to buy the plain one because I prefer a more compact gun
I will use this for plinking mainly with possible pest control if I am close enough.

Question: Does the longer barrel of the Ultra give me more FPS or improved accuracy?

I have an Ultra

I believe the ultra is a bit more powerful and accurate

There are 3 generations of this gun and one has threads to add a suppressor..
for me I have a suppressor adapter
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Webley-Alecto-Zoraki-HP-01-Ultra-moderator-adapter-1-2x20-UNF-/142455747932?var=&hash=item212b06355c:m:mTEH_PrqbFmIQWNgaHxEHSg

if you get the second Generation non-Ultra I believe it will have threads to add an adapter and a suppressor but if not there is no way to add a suppressor other than getting a ultra barrel installed and doing a lot of other crazy stuff to the gun

and some place I have a .PDF file of an exploded parts view of the gun too ill find it and post it here or e-mail it to you if you want..
any generation of the ultra can be fitted with a suppressor adapter or has threads for one

I found the answer to my question, I found it on AIRGUNS OF ARIZONA BLOG

"At one pump, the Ultra launches 7.9 grain Crosman .177 Premier pellets at around 379 fps; at 2 pumps, about 518 fps, and at 3 pumps, about 599 fps. By comparison, at one pump, the Alecto standard launches 7.9 grain Crosman .177 Premier pellets at around 365 fps; at 2 pumps, about 480 fps, and at 3 pumps, about 560 fps.

Do the math, and you’ll find that extra three inches of barrel delivers a 4 percent increase in velocity at one pump; an 8 percent increase in fps at 2 pumps, and a 7 percent increase at three pumps. This translates to an 8 percent increase in power at one pump; 16 percent increase in foot-pounds of energy at the muzzle at two pumps; and 14 percent increase to 6.29 fp at three pumps. That’s plenty good enough for taking small game at close range with proper shot placement."
