Huben huben gk1 owners

Alright, Huben owners. I am jealous and I'm sure many others are as well. a 25 cal is def on my wish list. Hopefully i will be able to afford one in a couple years lol. Anyways i wanted to ask, How much do you guys think it costs Huben to manufacture a gk1? Obviously nobody really knows but im interested to see what people think.

I think you are asking the wrong question. The cost of the GK1 is what it is because it is the best currently made. No other air pistol comes close to the Huben GK1 in any area. It is an amazing pistol. Because there is no real competition, Huben can ask what they want in the marketplace and get it. Only adequate competition will reduce the GK1 price, not the cost of manufacturing.

Suppose for a moment that the GK1 wasn’t manufactured by Huben but instead was made by Weihrauch or Steyr. Would it still seem outrageously overpriced? An HW44 is about the same price as a GK1 and an LP50 is about twice the price and a GK1 is by far the most complicated design of the three.
Well first off I wanna say the donkey meme is no disrespect to huben owners. More of a shot back for homeboy who sent the troll haha. And tbh man I love the gk1. I just know that they are screwing people bad on the price. Same with the other guns you mentioned.

I remember back when palmetto state armory started putting out pb’s at less than half the price point of other manufacturers putting out the same style packages, same features and all. That just left a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to gun companies. Now obviously I understand that they are here to run a business not to give stuff away. But I mean there’s a difference between making a profit and driving a knife through your customers hearts with the greediness.

Gk1 is a neat gun. Beats competitors by a landslide. But I bet you it doesn’t cost them more than 300-400 to manufacture each gun. And if that’s the case yeah I’m a little pissy about the price point. And I know for a fact I’m not the only one who feels this way, just look at any comment section in ANY gk1 video. There’s always at least a few comments if not more complaining about the price point. Anyways rant over lol

There is nothing wrong with acknowledging that the price of airguns (especially certain brands) is getting out of hand, while at the same time praising the qualiy and functionality of a particular gun.

Im a huge GK1 fanboy. It's my favourite PCP by a mile. But they could definitely shave off a couple hundred bucks. The only reason they don't is because we continue to pay for it, and even defend their price gouging.

Thank you that’s exactly what I’m saying! I totally agree with you. And don’t get me wrong im a fanboy too. Even if that was like 600-700 I would have no complaints. Even 800 i can deal with. But over $1200??? Come on someone can buy 2 ar15’s with that.
What difference does any of the above comments make?
And, it certainly doesn’t matter at all what it cost them to build it.
Buy it or don’t buy it.
If you can’t afford it at their selling price it’s a moot point isn’t it.
Well that’s the thing man I think if enough people complained about it or even better people stop buying them they would definitely drop the price they would be inclined to. Hell I’ll start the petition myself lol

I swear the people defending crazy price tags on pellet guns must really like paying those prices because they perceive higher price correlates to higher value or some strange reason I can't quite comprehend.

Thank you. Exactly how I said. Idc if it’s the best loaf of bread I ever had I ain’t never payin $100 for it lol. Also the people who are defending these prices are probably
Sitting on hundreds and hundreds of acres. They probably ain’t never heard the words food and stamps in the same sentence before lol. Most of the time higher price means they are just screwing you harder. Like obviously I understand some guns cost more to add features like a plenum and regulator and such but companies will make a gun “side lever” and add like $300 more to the price. Craziness. Add a picatiny rail on top of a gun that costs 75 cents and add it as a “feature” and raise the price a hundred. Barbaric. There are some guns worse than a budget notos that people are selling for 1k+++ like I’m sorry but if you spend over a grand on an airgun that produces less than 30 foot pounds of energy you must got a lottaaa screw you money layin around. Otherwise I just don’t get it 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

With your opinion clearly stated, you probably use illegal software with little to no regard to intellectual rights because I see your position as exactly the same thing. We live in a capitalistic society and the best deserve what they can receive because they are the best. perhaps, even the first. My bigger concern is Gregor's reward. He's the one that deserves exceptional compensation. He's the originator of the GK1, not Huben. Huben deserves reward because they saw the potential of Gregor's creation and made the gamble of the required investment to make the GK1 in production. Even then, Huben then offset that investment by asking for advance purchase commitments from people like me who bought this pistol sight unseen for a decent discount. even before the final specs were determined. I paid for my first GK1 a full year before I received it. I did that because I saw Gregor's prototype .perform and I made the gamble.

lol! got to shoot my budget notos alongside a $1200 airgun during a pest eradication. while the $1200 airgun had a more robust feeling build, my budget notos didn’t fall behind on performance one bit.. or maybe i was just more familiar with my guns behavior.

i split the cost of my K1 between me and my wife as a birthday gift from her and myself for myself. this was the compromise i came up with because i didn’t want to pay full price for it 😂. i’ve fulfilled my $1k+ airgun need.

You know what's really crazy? What people pay for cars. A used $6000 Prius is all 90% of people need and the other 10% should just drive vans, but those spendthrifts out there go out and pay 50 thousand dollars or more for cars. They buy four wheel drives thinking they're going to need it for the snow or something when they really should be buying a good practical car like a 2006 Prius or a Chevy Astro. The Prius, it gets 50 mpg! There's no 4x4 that gets 50 mpg, so why do they buy them? They never learned the value of a dollar, that's why. They think having the flashy car is going to make them like Puff Daddy or something, but they're just throwing away their money.

A Prius, that's a really nice, practical car!

I work very hard for my $$ 2 jobs=16 to 18 hrs for the last 38 years , i balked for a few months before buying the GK1, but i am very happy that i purchased it, do i wish that it was less than $ 1250 ? hell yes, but ,i would do it again without a second thought, in fact i am seriously thinking about selling all of my more expensive airguns, since receiving the GK1..
