Huben huben gk1 owners

No one wants to pay these prices. IMO the price of the gk1 was not outlandish; considering pcp pistols like the Ataman ap-16, hw 44, and Steyr lp50 were around the same or much more for the Steyr ($2k). Based on the current market offerings for pcp pistols the gk1 price is fair. The ap-16 and hw-44 are excellent pistols but use a simple knock open (poppet valve). Whereas the Huben has two valves working in tandem. One of the valves is a revolutionary design never before seen in the airgun world. The gk1 design also being semi-auto makes it more costly to produce. Adding onto the cost is the titanium air cylinder Huben uses instead of the industry standard cylinders. All this for the SAME price as the ap-16 and hw-44.

The prices are what they are and me whining about it on a forum isn’t going to change it. Prices change when competing brands come out with a similar product at a lower price. If someone can match or top what Huben has done at a lower price then you will see your gk1 price drop.

And I bet you wont see a competitor beat their price performance level for a long time , some will TRY most will fail.

With your opinion clearly stated, you probably use illegal software with little to no regard to intellectual rights because I see your position as exactly the same thing. We live in a capitalistic society and the best deserve what they can receive because they are the best. perhaps, even the first. My bigger concern is Gregor's reward. He's the one that deserves exceptional compensation. He's the originator of the GK1, not Huben. Huben deserves reward because they saw the potential of Gregor's creation and made the gamble of the required investment to make the GK1 in production. Even then, Huben then offset that investment by asking for advance purchase commitments from people like me who bought this pistol sight unseen for a decent discount. even before the final specs were determined. I paid for my first GK1 a full year before I received it. I did that because I saw Gregor's prototype .perform and I made the gamble.
I’m sorry I didn’t mean to offend you sir.

After the warranty has ended, I have been trying to find someone to work on my Huben GK1. It is not holding air and when I try to fill it, air escapes around the magazine cylinder.
I assume by your participation count that you are new to this hobby if you elect to continue, you will need to be proficient in its maintenance. That includes carrying spare "O" rings for every gun you own and the ability to change them when needed.
