It opens and closes in the opposite direction.

@weevil I thought that the orientation stood out, but the person in the video still slammed the lever shut. If the materials that the lever is made of are the the same I would think that it remains prone to failure when allowing it to slam shut like in the photos contained in following link https://www.newenglandairgun.com/you-blew-it.html

The ‘v3’ is indeed better suited for lefthanded shooters. But it’s not a specific ‘lefthanded version’, right? All newly produced GK1’s are like this now.

It’s not specific. The grip is still ambidextrous.

Exactly So it’s not a ‘left handed gun’. It’s ambi, and the most recent model (v3) has the mag lever ‘out of the way’ for left handed shooters.
