Huben Huben GKI 22 caliber Pellets? any tight ones?

Is there any 22 caliber pellet that fits tight in the magazine ??? On my GKI Vi I have to seat each and every pellet, If I don;'t the pellet will jam my gun,, I can load JSB, H&N JTS even the GTO pellets have to be seated one by one, If I open the gate and tilt the gun up all the pellets will fall out, I call that a loose fit,, So is there any over size 22 pellets out there , I prefer light pellets as I keep my FPS down to 500FPS for crazy shot count ...

AEA pellets they have them in 15.89gr

Norma 17.6gr seem to work for me. Not sure if they are discontinued or not. (Bought a lot, when they were on sale.). Pretty tight fit, no problems with them. Pop in and stay in. Just push them in until the skirt is just inboard of the magazine edge. Seems like some of the GK1's in 22 are running large. Have you measured the bore and the magazine?

I also have had good luck with my cast 99.9% lead NOE BBT slugs. They have a drive band which does the sealing, and the nose is guided by the lands. Unfortunately, there aren't that many molds around. No issues with fit, but based on a lot of feedback here, maybe my bore is not the normal size. Haven't had any of my cast slugs shift in the magazine, nor any jams. I seat them flush with the magazine rear face. (Crossing my fingers, knock on wood, holding my breathe, etc.)

This is gonna sound strange but Daisy .22hp 15.6 grain shoot and seat perfectly in both my K1 and GK1 they look like a dished face wad cutter. I seat them all the way forward its a flat face so no hangs on pointed noses and sit tight no movement you can shake the gun and they don't move at all. They come 3 500 rd tins to a box. I buy the boxes in quantities of 4 6000 rounds per shipment that gets me free shipping all have come fedex in good shape. BTW they cost 8.40 per tin

In my k1 I have settled on fx 18 for right now. Shoots lights out. They are snug but I still seat them because I get no flyers when I do. Did an experiment with and without seating with several weights and manufactures. Flyers are nonexistent when seated verses just pushed in till flush with mag. I carry my rifle slung and non issue with loose pellets.

When you do this you will hear a little click. The pen which I use will just sear it just right.

Thanks for that. I've never seated my pellets that deep, so I've never heard the click, I'll have to try it. On the other hand, never had an issue with the pellets moving around. Maybe next week I may take my GK1 apart, I'm curious how it mikes out. Famous last words, how hard can it be? :D Have a half ball Yuasa gauge, I'll see what it says. (I'll practice my technique again, it's easy to forget how, if I haven't practiced in a while.).

I never have either in any mag I just pushed it until it was flush but I was talking to him and he said have you tried using the pen to seat your pellets and I said no so I did and my flyers went away

>22000 GTOs shot from my GK1. Stock loading gate just clicking them in past the plastic ridge. No seating, no jams or movement.

Haven’t shot it much lately because I’ve been tinkering with the Taipan and Mora slug guns. Spotted a nutter this morning from the kitchen raiding the pomegranate tree. Apples and pears, I’ll give them a pass but those pomegranates are precious. Picked up the (dusty but trusty) GK1 with a bugbuster scope and the (can’t talk about ‘em here) active shroud and oval mod, rested on a bag of rice and with just a tink of the valve, put a 900fps GTO between eye and ear. Dropped out of the tree after the 5 second freeze and flopped around as they do, coming to rest with its rear facing me at 30 yards out. Couldn’t resist putting a second one into the large nut sack that was in full view. All too tempting with that glorious semi action/trigger. Talk about dead nuts accurate.

Did you install a speed loading gate? I did and started having jam issues. Went back to the OEM on both of my GKs and not a single problem since and it s been at least 9 months since I went back to OEM. May take an extra minute to load max.

FYI, using the stock feed gate on my V3. I've had no issues with pellet retention or my cast slugs. Don't know if that's relevant, but simply putting it out there. Maybe someone can put all the clues together. The gate is slightly awkward, but it works for me. I fumble more with the pellets than the gate itself.
Same - no issues with the stock loading system. Part of the reason I picked .25 is it is easier to handle the pellets, and like you the handling of the pellets is the limiting factor for me.

I put the probe in the left side of the gun and rest it on my left index finger supporting it nicely - rests at just the right position to handle the gun with my left hand and rotate the mag with my thumb while feeding pellets with my right. You can actually load 2 pellets at a time this way with the stock gate but I still can only pick one up at a time lol
