Hi again to all, keeping with the theme of trying to make the platform work as best as we can, I have some news to tell you all.......
I contacted Nick Nielsen from https://nielsenspecialtyammo.com/ and now we (not just me, a bunch of other people from all over) are working together to develop the best .22 slug that's specially designed for the Huben K1, that way we can have an alternative for long range application or just a plain good pellet/slug for the rifle.
As a comment, a few demo samples are on the way so I can star testing them and get back with results for Nick, well as many of you may know is a long process, a lot of try and error kind of thing, but what's more important is that work is being done !!!
I'll be posting more on the subject, see you all.

Yes, that is great news! Nielsen Speciality Ammo will be the leader if these slugs can prove they can developed Huben slugs and bring them to market quickly. They will make a fortune at it.

Hi again to all, there's a first report from tkerrigan97352 in another forum about the demo slugs from Nick and I quote:
"Hi all, Tom in Jefferson, Oregon, USA here, I'm new. Just tried out some swaged .223 35gr hollow points today for Nielsen Specialty Ammo. First 5 shot group at 50 yards was .4375". Better than any 20 yard group before. Next two groups were .9375" and .6875" all in the 975 to 985fps range. And this is with a K1 type 1. Yesterday I set the gun up using Gregor's method, With the power dial wide open, turn the regulator up until the bullet or pellet is 30fps or 10 meters faster than the desired speed. Then turn the power knob down to the speed you want. I also shoved all the bullets to the end of the mag so that they enter the barrel at the slowest possible speed to reduce damage. Seems to work. Regards, Tom".
I think my samples are going to arrive this week and I'll be making tests on the weekend, I'll post my findings and maybe do some videos about it.

hello, there was a problem, after the air coming out of the smaller tank, the air continues to leave the large tank through the pressure regulator, I changed the o-ring in it and the problem is not gone away because of this the pressure in the small tank is constantly increasing to 200 bar which you can give advice ?

Your plastic seal is damaged on the regulator. It is placed on the washer that is loose on the steam and there is an o-ring around it. You will have to replace it. You will need to order it form Huben or distributor.

Gregor, I did not understand what kind of puck you are talking about, if there is an opportunity to indicate on the photos

The bottom part that is marked is a plastic seal that is damaged, top part is an o-ring around it... This plastic seal is responsible for sealing when the regulator cuts off the airflow (when the pressure reaches its set value in the regulated chamber). Because it leaks, your pressure just keeps on rising. This is probably the reason for your problems

Does anyone know the sizes of the O-rings in the Huben K1 Gen 2 ? What material should they be made of? I have seen them made from: rubber, teflon, urethane, silicone, ect, Nothing is mentioned in the 'user pamphlet'.


I have also obtained a plastic seal, shown below, but I cannot get it into the regulator..lol

on the previous page the dimensions of the rubber in the moving parts should be nbr 90, in the remaining nbr 70

Just wanted everyone to know I sold my Huben last Wednesday. I had a guy over to look at guns, he shot a .15" or smaller 3 shot group at 20 yards his first three shots with the gun using the 35gr monsters and had to have it. What Gregor says about setting up the reg and power valve is gold, in the past I could only get about 3/4-7/8" groups at that distance. I may buy a series 2 later on or wait and see if they make a .25 Regards, Tom

As Bigalex says, just go back a couple of post and you can see all the O'ring details, look for them and good luck

Let's see what Huben has for this IWA 2018, as I understand they are going the have a stand over there, maybe they show some new stuff or progress with the current lineup, can you tell the guy that bought you the rifle to post is findings and progress here so we can have more knowledge base and data about the rifle?

I could not find slugs with this .223 diameter on the NSA website, only the .217 on the 33gr.

Hi petrovivs,you would not find them anywhere because this is an all new slug being designed specifically for the Huben K1, in the the pics that I posted are a few demo slugs that Nick sent me to test the initial model. The idea behind all is to create the best slug posible for the Huben K1, all this weekend I'll drive to the range to test things out and later I post the results,just a bit more patience, thinks are being donde to try and solve the ammo/accuracy for the huben and also huben not selling there own slug.

Hi everyone:
I have some bad news about the tests with your bullets, I started the test trying out the .222 but they wouldn't fit into the magazine at first I tried to push them with my thumb and was very hard but I made it, then when I start to shoot the magazine got stuck, then I have to disassembly the whole rifle to take out the stuck pellet and since I have the magazine out I put five more bullets pushing them with an allen key so I can shoot them and this are the results of that.It was at 55 yards shooting around 980 feet per second on the reg pressure was about 160 bar.

Hi again I forgot to post another group but with JSB Jumbo Monster Redesign 25,39 grains (straight out of the tin), same conditions, shooting from a bench rig (see pics).
The diameter of the group is written in millimeters on on the side, they where al 10 shot groups at 55 yards, reg pressure at 160 BAR and chrony data of 1015FPS average.
