Huben K1 vs. Feral Hogs - Thankful for Semi Auto

I certainly didn't buy the Huben K1 because of its semi-auto feature, but after last night I'm grateful it has it! I had a sounder come in last around 2AM; I opted to target the sow and was able to drop it instantly. To my surprise a young boar stopped running and stopped behind the sow which gave me a split second to take another shot. I initially didn't think it was a kill shot, but I noticed it in the woods starting to stagger so I took a few more shots to prevent it from running off into the woods where I couldn't recover it (wound on the belly is from a coyote overnight). Distance is about 60 yards and then around 90 yards trying to finish off the boar in the woods.

The Huben K1 continues to impress, even with the heavy modifications the report from it is so quiet, I think that's why the young boar wasn't entirely spooked.

Any gun is a Baconator if used properly.

But the Huben sure is a great gun, plenty power and accuracy with a sweet semi action,.....cannot wait to have the Huben pistol in my hands, and probably after that I will want a Pup to match.

25 cal, barrel is a custom machined LW polygonal that’s a few inches longer than the factory one. It’s purpose built for slugs, but I’ve tried JSB Hades and they are very accurate too. At the moment I’m shooting 38gr NSA slugs, at about 970-1000fps with the regulator around 16mpa. I intend to move to 50gr slugs soon.

If you lookup a YouTuber called “Desert Airgun” he has the exact same gun I have and has some videos of its performance, he uses his primarily for precision shooting/competition. They were made by Kelly at Kraz Kool Airguns LLC.
