So, tonight I went to change the loading gate (installing Andrew's), and when I removed the factory gate there was an excessive amount of "oil" in the area.
Previous to this, I had noticed excessive oil around screws and such on other areas of the gun (trigger, etc) , but I figured Kelly went through and lubed some parts? 🤷‍♂️
Does this look like a problem? 🫣
I've since wiped the other mentioned "oil" away, but it was just as excessive as what's pictured.

Mine also looked exactly like this. Totally fine operation : )

My conclusion is that Huben likes their lube 😁

People praise the triggers on Hubens (K1 and GK1) because they are light, or can be light, but I think there is scope for improvement.
If there is a wall (see chart in link for example), I can't feel it, at least not on the heavy pull setting; it's not a crisp break at all that I can tell. My basis of comparison is a custom modded Marauder pistol trigger group, and that is way better (although heavy-ish).

I agree. I cannot really feel a crisp break in either one of mine. It has not bothered me, I have shot this pistol better than any pistol I have owned.
However, a crisp break would be appreciated.

I am happy with this case from Amazon for $91 that is able to handle the GK1 with Subscriber's shorty moderator and they printed the Huben logo for free

Remember when the Ataman pistol came out,...my though was that it looked wickedly good and would have loved to have one but I could never justify the 1 grand price tag.
Fast forward to the Huben Pistol and 1250 bucks seems like a bargain, that's how phenomenal this pistol is.

I totally agree! I went to the range and introduced a friend of mine whom never shot an air gun, just powder burners and he was so impressed. We sighted the GK1 .25 at 25 yards and were the only ones constantly shooting in the bullseye with no problems. Once we had it dialed it we did not have any further pellets hit the tan part of the large paper target for the rest of the day. We shot close to two tins, so about 650 shots and as I told him, that's it leave the GK1 pressurized in the case and no need to spend hours to clean it! He was shocked at the accuracy and impressed with the need for practically zero maintenance compared to his huge collection of firearms that cost a fortune to shoot.

This is the one and only paper target we used for the entire day. We just kept placing more 4" stickers and the larger center target over the past rounds all day long....

Cool, actually the case more equivalent would be their 4800 that is $60...
Perhaps however the pistol fits within the parameters of the pick and pluck foam. It's a no-brainer at thirty bucks. Also, HF's Tactical Ammo Box is $8.99 with a coupon. Very handy for shooters.

That's cool; although I thought the factory case could hold the moderator?, I am really liking to primarily use Subscribers 2.75" moderator so I needed longer to handle the length and the Holosun green dot sight also made it just too small to fit :(

Sorry, missed this. The pistol, moderator and spares came in the factory case. Unfortunately the Holosun site does not fit hence the HF case. I don't expect to use the moderator. Thought it might be nice to have should a quieter report be desired. Even if the moderator was in regular use it takes very little time to install and remove. Since I walk six or more miles per day with the Huben it's been more convenient to just store it in a holster. The case is for the rare occasion when the pistol may be transported with a vehicle.

i got a chance to shoot my new v3 GKI yesterday, it is loud, so i added a Spook Ember , that made it a lot Quiter , shot the mag empty , i love this thing , but need a stock , i am a terrible shot with a pistol, i have a cheap(i think ) red dot that i will add on today, if & when i find a stock , i will install a discovery scope.. i think all of my other pcp's will be gathering dust from here on..

Don't feel bad about being a poor pistol shot. Most folks are, but they are afraid to admit it for fear they will be scorned. It is very hard to shoot a hand gun. Even after extensive professional training, it will still take a very long time to become proficient. Even worse though, is that it is a perishable skill and without continuous practice, it goes away. I've been shooting my whole life and try to shoot every day. There are some days I don't, but not many. For me, it's like brushing your teeth. I am 80 years old this year and I still shoot a 5 shot 1 inch group off hand at 25 meters, However, with my eyesight, I may not necessarily know just where that group resides!
