HUGE noise difference between Krale.com PP750 vs. Airgunarcheryfun.ca PP750

Today I realized why everyone was saying the pp750 is loud. While working on the pp750 I got from Wes(Airgunarchery.ca) I noticed there were no baffles in the shroud! I could’ve sworn the pp750 I bought from krale.com did have baffles. After shooting it with the new valve with bigger port, it sounded like a little fire cracker going off. All this time I thought my hearing was going bad after reading all the comments about how loud it is. Now I know my hearing is ok lol

Checked my pp750 from krale and there were baffles. So if you’re deciding on getting a pp750 get one from Krale.com. It will be noticeably quieter than the one from Airgunarcheryfun.ca. Also the one from Krale will already have the normal valve in it and not the tiny Canadian valve that needs to be swapped out to get full power. It appears that Wes forgot to mention there being no baffles probably due to some stupid Canadian regulation. Either that or I got crap luck and got one without baffles. If it’s the former, I wish Wes would’ve let this be known. I wouldn’t have ordered it without baffles because honestly the Krale one with baffles doesn’t even need an LDC(shooting at 12fpe)

Guys that got their pp750 from Wes let me know if there are baffles in your shroud. You don’t even *have to take it off just look down into the barrel(unloaded of course)

I was aware of the 500fps regulation but not the suppression. Wes never mentioned that. If I were in his shoes that would be one of things I would mention to US customers who CAN have baffles

Wes seems like an ok guy but it doesn’t make sense for US customers to order baffleless, underpowered guns from Canada. Better off ordering one from a country with similar regulations to our own

I looked on his website last night and it mentions not having Baffles in it. And yes it’s because of Canadian restrictions.Maybe he didn’t have that in the description at the time you bought yours but it’s there now.

I preordered mine with Wes thru email so I never saw that description. That’s good that he makes people aware. Maybe he could have the Artemis people ship the baffles directly to customers who don’t want to spend an extra $140+ on an adapter and LDC

Doesn't it have the 3 spacers, just not the inserts that go between them?

That's what a couple people posted when they took their shroud endcap off.

If that's the case, a trip down to the hardware store and 3 washers will do just about the same thing, to create chambers to make a reduction in report.

It does have the spacers. I’ll try the washers thanks

What do the spacers look like? Mine is completely empty.

I would just use a hair curler or 2 (cut to size) wrapped in oiled scotch brite with a washer in between. Quieter that way compared to conical baffles...

Gonna try that too

How long does the scotch brite last before it starts breaking apart?

I've had the same curlers and scotch brite in my SPA P-12 for a couple of years now.
