It's pretty easy to set it on a table while assembling and watch for eccentricity as you turn it on. For a first fitting making sure the mod bore is aligned internally when installed is a must. Just because it was tested at the factory doesnt mean something couldnt have shifted in shipping. Ensuringveberything is in alignment externally can be done with an inexpensive depth/dial indicator from HFT.
