I have ordered from them before, but they've never asked me this.So is this something new, or is this normal practice when you order air rifles from them?

Years ago I had to send them a picture of my drivers license. Or maybe it was Krale. Either way it was either do it or no toys.

several yrs ago I sent Krale a photo of my driver licence, to purchase a Weihrauch HW110 22 FAC

Kral asked for my license a coupla years ago. But I was buying a rifle.
All they want it for is verification of...age.
As for Ta-Ta's intelligent comment...all you have to do is blank out everything but your age before you make a sendable copy ! No license number, no height, weight, address (they get that ANYWAY !!), any other personal stuff.
No freaking big deal.
I just yesterday received a box full of goodies from Huma. No license info required.
My only hang up, UPS in the US held it for almost three weeks. Don't know why. They didn't open the box to see what was inside. Maybe they X-rayed it and were concerned. The box was VERY dusty, like it just sat on a shelf.
I contacted UPS, no answer. I contacted Huma. They sent me what looked like a form letter. BUT...the box was delivered 5 days later.

Yeah, it's not the first time I've bought from them. Just the first time I've purchased a rifle through them.
