Huma. Maybe there is hope?

Perhaps its not just the potential market volume for Huma - i.e. there have been x thousands of Avengers sold…

Perhaps they also weigh the potential of those with a $350 rifle willing to spend $100 on a replacement part - that also have the knowledge and tools to self install.

Hey, I’m the guy that will - if its got a great barrel, I’m all about optimizing the rifle….

…. But I’d bet the majority of $350 rifle owners might rather direct the money towards an “upgraded” rifle than put it into the existing entry-level budget rifle.

Just my opinion…

Well thats what you can expect with the cheap budget pcps unfortunately. I normally suggest new pcpers get into something that has parts available in good supply. These types of products are manufactured to be throw away items, with few spare parts being made. Its very common in all industries now, and affects many of the low end pcps. That being said, Tyler at PA is heavily involved with Air Venturi and has done a great job convincing the manufacture to provide some extra parts to some retailers. PA has some spare parts for the Avenger. They are not in high quantities but you might be able to get some stuff from them off the next boat. Huma probably will never make a regulator for the Gen 1 Avengers. The low tier pcps dont have a long enough shelf life normally to drive the enormous investment of money and man hours to design a reg. You can also upgrade to a bottle with a Ninja front reg like I did. Looking back I wish I didnt spend the money on my Avenger, but live and learn.

There is the KEY example of a realistic expectation of the feasibility or realistic expectation of the marketability of said "After Market Part" that being the part were to fit a Cheap gun :cautious:

Once the slo-Boat from China Gets here, I will just get a couple extra regs to keep as spares. I Love My JTS, but no more Chinese Rifles for Me.

Hi Grant,

I know we are discussing making one!
But can’t promise this will be done. (That’s out of my hands)

But I hope that fixes some.

Met vriendelijk groet, best regards

Can a different Grip be used? I am not cracked up over the one in the photo?
