Tuning Huma regulator for Crown

With the stock hammer weight I don’t think you would gain anything.

I know on my .25 Gen 1 continuum w/stock hammer, it will start dropping power when I go above 152bar. Obviously gauges will very from gun to gun.
Check out this thread from mtnGhost. Tons of info. This info is a little older so not sure how it applies to MKII Crowns.

One thing to consider with the Huma is you lose the ability to adjust the reg down while under pressure. For me that’s a deal breaker as I adjust my reg 5-10bar when switching between 380 and 700mm barrels. Not nocking the Huma, I think they make a nice product.

If your looking at an MKII Crown I would think the larger plenum will yield even more power and less need for high reg pressures unless maybe you want to push heavy slugs.

Stock 700mm got me 900-905 w/34gr JSB’s

Dual port and a little probe work and it will do 950-960 w/34gr JSB’s

That should be enough power for light to medium weight slugs. MKII should have the power to get even heavier slugs moving pretty good. Not Impact power but the MKII Crown should close the gap a bit.
