Tuning Huma Transfer Port Upgrade

Is it worth getting this upgrade for a wildcat mk3 compact? Id like to try and get 900fps shooting the 29.5 gr nsa slugs. Currently maxed at 870 fps. Not sure whether it will be an awesome upgrade or a complete waste on a compact. Would the pellet probe be worth it to?

I got 20-30fps on the Ernest Rowe transfer port in my compact Impact. 25.

there is if its has the STX barrel system

You should pickup 20 to 30 fps more so I would say yes.

On my Impact .25 with huama port I got over 20 fps more then with stock.

I have found the 20 to 30 FPS gain to be consistent across several FX platforms in .25 cal., so you can in all likelyhood expect the same gain in a Wildcat.

If you are just replacing the brass transfer port I can see a 25 fps gain, as everyone else has. But if you have modified the porting or enlarged valve seats, added hammer weight or other power mods, you can expect to gain a great deal more speed than this.

my mk2 crown in .22 is getting 956fps with the H&N 25gr slugs.

the closer i get to 1000fps with slugs, i'm good.....

for the stx barrel system.
