.22 cal, I'm probably going to hold off on buying it for now and just get the behemoth. Realized I need to get a better filter system for my pump so going to try to save some money and just go for the moderator for now, and get the new filter. Down the revisit the shroud idea most likely.

I asked because if your future plan is to use the Behemoth on the factory shroud it might be a good idea to go up a size since the bore on the Behemoth moderators are said to be a bit tight and there can be alignment issues. But if you're going barrel direct then size it for the caliber.

There was a discussion about this but I can't seem to find it. But it sounds like you're going barrel direct anyways.

Interesting, I didn't realize it would be necessary to size up more with a shroud. I'll keep that in mind!

Not a problem if one has an L2 in .177 or .25 because then you're already sizing up by buying the Behemoth for your caliber. But if you have a .22, like you and I, then you're buying a mod that is sized for up to .30 cal.

I was wondering I am running a non reflex on my .25cal. I was thinking about adding some more baffles I am running 3 now would I see a difference in sound by adding 1 -2 more? Thanks

To my ears, there was a clear improvement after adding 1 baffle to stock setup, and a very small improvement when adding 1 more. I imagine there will be no difference after that.

I'm thinking it's the best compromise between performance and price, length, and weight - for the .25 cal.

Would anyone be able to post some pictures they have of their Behemoth (non-reflex) mounted on a Leshiy 2 with the 350mm or longer valkyrie handguard?

I see that on the Edgun Spain site there is no gap between the Behemoth end chamber and the handguard.

Previously in Brian's (Edgun West) video showcasing them there was this big gap when using older handguard and the Behemoth (non-reflex). Did something change? Unsure what to expect.

Finally got my new in-line filter for my air compressor installed so looking back into the behemoth.

I took a screen grab from that video from before the Behemoth was released and it sure looks like the 350mm handguard at least has been redesigned since then.

If you look at the CGI image from the Spanish site it appears the three slots on the 350mm model are more centered left to right and not biased towards the front as pictured above.

Unfortunately I'm afraid I'm only pointing out what you already know. And I don't have the actual picture evidence that you asked for.

Hopefully others will know for sure.

I just heard back from Brian and he told me the valkyrie handguards have been redesigned to be longer, so older handguards are a little shorter.

On a related note, I'm experimenting with 3D-printed inserts for the the Behemoth on my L2 (currently, a .25 running at around 65fpe). Figured that if I put a baffle in the first section, it would force more air into the reflex chamber. Seems to work very well so far as far as the sound signature is concerned. Surprisingly, the non-reflex version benefits from the blast baffle as well. There might be positive effects on accuracy, too. Work in progress...

Sure. What caliber do you have? I only made one for a .25, would need to slightly modify the design for others.
