I was curious if an adjustable butt pad is allowed for use in Hunter class. I recently put one on and am now wondering if I can even use it(I know... Ready, Fire, Aim!) See picture below.
"I did see some forum discussion about if the wings are not beyond 30 degrees then they are OK, but that may be just some internet lore." No; and neither did you imagine it.
After copying (verbatim) the AAFTA 'butthook' rule for my TEXtreme Field Target rules, when my shooters started pressuring me for a definition I imposed the thirty-degree maximum.
They are not referring to AAFTA FT. Not even sure why they brought that stuff up. Your butt plate is fine for AAFTA Hunter division. Have fun this weekend.

For OP, we're talking about two things here. Extreme Field Target, and "regular" AAFTA field target. Sounds like there is nothing in the AAFTA book defining a butthook for Hunter class but Ron out in Texas decided on the 30 degree angle for his Extreme matches. For you Textremers, is there a length limit to each wing?
