Hunter supply cast slugs

Has anyone used the Hunter supply cash slugs? If so how do they shoot in big bores?

I did but only found a couple of threads talking about their powder coated bullets... It seems no one has had much luck with them though.

@Poke-E Sounds about right. They can arrive pretty beat up too.

Makes sense... I actually bought some for my texan but cannot get them to shoot straight to save my life. They were just rolling around in the box and werebpretty beat up. I was thinking maybe it was just mine!

I bought some and they needed to be sized. When I tried them unsized and they weren't very accurate. They're not the same size so the drag in the barrel differs from one slug to the next.

That makes sense! I have no way of sizing them so they no good for me!!!

Just about all of the slugs really need to be sized if you are matching the slug to the groove diameter.

Well if you have a way to size them and it's not too expensive I will send them to you!!! I probably have about three boxes of 350 grain in .457...

I'd avoid Hunter Supply slugs due to the way they are packaged and arrive and they way that mine don't shoot worth a damn. They're going to be ingots along with H&N Grizzly slugs.

@Ezana4CE I foolishly ordered a box of 250 of them. I was shocked when I opened the box and they were not packaged or protected at all! They were all simply poured into the box, it was sealed, and they shipped it!
