Looking for recommendations on a nice compact hunting light in red. If you know of anything please leave a link. Thanks in advance!

I like the Klarus XT11 series of handheld flashlights. I use this particular light and red filter for my Leshiy to good effect for hunting rats.

They also have a newer version that bumps up the lumens to 2000.

I've never "hunted" anything else but rats with a red light. There is a difference using a red filter versus a white light. Rats get easily spooked if I use a white light. When I have the red filter on, they go about their business and end up dead. Just my experience.

Now see you did not read what I said nor the complete editorial many cheap red lights uses nothing more than a red lens cover this is not a true red spectrum light emitting in the wavelength that is hard to see by the animals. I did not say red wasn’t better I said get the proper wavelength.
also your color will need to depend on your shooting situation a green light will focus and reach targets from a shooters position at longer ranges a red light is much better mounted at the target sight like a baited area. I use a green laser designator that will focus down to a dot or out to a 2 feet circle of light On one of my hog hunting kits for whatever reason green also reflects eye glow better than red light

I bought a green light simply because I read reviews and saw footage showing it working. The footage can't lie, but evidently there is more to the story. Thanks for providing it.

As I tried to explain cheap Chinese flashlight with a red lens or green lens is not going to cut it. These are what are considered filters they block light, Higher end hunting lights uses what ever chemical and electrical engineering to create bulbs, leds that actually burns in the correct wavelength this means instead of blocking 40 50% of the light that is being produced you are using 100%
Also as said speaking from experience though I do not know why, Green spectrum light travels further than red does a red light works great when placed at a feeder or baited site as a flood light but it sucks as a 60 yard beam.

I got a Odepro KL52 Plus. It comes with white, green, red. It has worked as advertised so far.

I've shot rabbits at night with a red light attached to my scope. I can see rabbit,rat, mice, and even spider eyes. Works great for me.

I have hard time to justify a several hundred bucks piece price for a red or green LED hunting light? Somebody is tweaking the numbers. Rebranding again?

Nobody can convince me that a hunting light shall be 3 digits and x 2-3-4. You may be in different ballgame.

I purchased a hunting light from Vastfire from Amazon for $60. It had interchangeable LED lamps in red, green, and white. Comes with a remote on/off switch and two mounting adapters. Battery life is good and the charger is included. When not hunting I use the white bulb for general flashlight use so I don't have a piece of equipment not being used 99% of the year.

This is what I have and have been very pleased. Focused beam gives plenty of long distance viewing..couple of hundred yards. I've had foxes dead sighted with this gun-mounted and no issue with spooking. Works for me.
