HW 100 pcp

I have just purchased a hw100 laminbated Before adding the scope decided to fire 14 rounds The gun comes in the box with cylinder seperated - so screwed it on and charged it with air, Almost emptied the magazine and realised air cylinder was not screwed on far ebough - pellets were loading but not being fired Now I feel stupid and have 13 pellets jamming the barrel Can i rod the barrel to clear Any comments would be appreciated PS now the cylinder is screwed in further I get a hiss of air on firing

If you take barrel off and place in a vice you can try to push them out with a rod but 13 pellets is going to be a mission. You might have to heat up the barrel to soften the lead pellets inside. Be careful not to scratch the rifling. As far as the hiss, is prolly air returning that cant get past the stuck pellets. Or did you use a pull through to clean barrel peior to shooting? On the HW100 thats a recipe for dislocating the breech seal. Anyhow, any leaks and such are an easy fix on this rifle. Your stuck pellets though...

Better build a puller . Like a solid rod and attach a screw point on maybe strong expoxy glue. Go in screw into the first pellet and hope you pull it out or digs it out in chunks .

You could push them out but most times i see that just can mash them in tighter . And 13 probly need to rig up in a shop press like 2 ton ..

Heating that barrel don't sound like a thing unless i just dont see it getying hot enough to expand that much without maybe screwing it up. The bluing anyway .

Just google $ like " .177 pellet stuck in barrel" or to that and start looking and reading and try ideas you see suggested

That's worse than a premature ejaculation.o_OAll kidding aside I would take it to a machinist and tell him your problem, be sure to call and tell him your problem and see what he can do....13 pellets! You push too hard and they will get more stuck....if the air was weak the skirts may not have flaired out....properly have to do a no no and push them out the barrel first so as to not expand the skirts, ,=uh properly expand either way....

This guy" telephonexxx"? In this thread is from cornwall UK with hw's. Maybe hook up / pm with him on some help local.

May even get a good shooting buddy to pop some cans with on a weekend.

Get an appropriate sized ALUMINUM cleaning rod insert from muzzle end and tap them with a piece of wood or plastic but be patient...my guess is it will be easier than you think, I've done it with 2 or 3...the bearing surface of lead pellets against the bore isn't that great even 13...they will be back to back touching eash other and will act like one pellet...give it a try won't hurt anything
...and by the way...I've done dumber things than that...good luck!

Brand new gun and supposidly not possible to double load, Cylinder was not screwed on enough to supply air, Scope wasnt fitted so just pointed in a safe direction I watched the mag revolve and empty and assumed all was well, Back to the Gun room Ivybridge, Cornwall for their opinion on friday, Thank you all for your comments
Yes there is a system so you can not double load. However it only works, what is logical, if you don't pull the trigger.
Otherwise you would not be able to shoot al all.
How the hell would the gun know that the pellet did not leave the barrel? There is not a computer onboard.
I can not believe you did not see or hear that the gun dit not fire. 13 times in a row.
I own a HW100 12FPe version.

Did each pellet get progressively harder to chamber? I can’t imagine being able to chamber that many without serious force, but I admit I’ve never tried it. Good luck, you’ll get it sorted, and will soon be enjoying that sweet shooter!

Gun room, Ivybridge cleared the gun of the pellets today in about half hour, They used an in house plastic manufactored tool, All the pellets were undamaged. I feel very lucky but embarrassing stupid - must get a hearing test lol Thank you gun-room and all who have commented
Dont be we all have our oops moment..

You should of had them allow you a show and tell on that . Then maybe the tool is there trade secret.. lol.
